The effect of the filters in the Karofi HCV200 Hot and Cold Water Dispenser

1.1. RO filtration system is composed of 3 main parts:

• Pre-filter group: 3 filters of PP 5 micron, OCB, CTO
• RO Membrane: RO Membrane
• Functional filters: T33-GAC, Nano sliver Filter

1.2. Pre-filter filtration technology includes:

• 5-micron PP filter: Removes all kinds of dirt over 5 micrometers
• OCB-GAC Filter: Using activated carbon in the form of activated coconut shell placed in a plastic shell. Function of absorbing odors, absorbing slime and organic substances
• CTO filter: Deodorizes chlorine, removes heavy metals and organic substances

1.3. RO membrane filter technology:

RO membrane Removes most bacteria, amoeba, arsenic, metal ions and impurities in water.

1.4. Functional filtering technology includes:

• T33-GAC filter: handling difficult odors, organic substances... superior and stabilizing the natural sweetness of water.
• Nano Silver filter: kill bacteria, prevent re-infection after water passes through RO membrane

How often should you change the filter element?

The shelf life of the filter depends on the quality of the water source in each area and the capacity used:

For the Pre-Filter set, the recommended usage period is 6 to 12 months.

For RO membrane filter, the recommended usage time is from 24 - 36 months.

For the functional filter, the recommended usage time is up to 12 months.
